By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.

1. Eligibility

• Students: Users under 18 years old may only use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

• Tutors and Volunteers: To participate as a tutor or volunteer, you must submit accurate application materials (e.g., resume, qualifications, references). Openreach Academy reserves the right to verify submitted information and approve or reject applicants at its sole discretion.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

• Parents or guardians are responsible for accounts created for minors.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.

• Post or share offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.

• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the functionality or security of the Services.

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

Openreach Academy may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Tutor and Volunteer Conduct

• Tutors and volunteers must act professionally, respectfully, and in good faith.

• Materials submitted during the application process (e.g., resumes, qualifications) must be truthful and accurate.

• Tutors and volunteers may not share or misuse students' personal information obtained through the Services.

5. Educational Purpose

The Services are provided for educational support only. Openreach Academy does not guarantee academic outcomes, grades, or results.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

7. Intellectual Property

• Content provided on the Services (e.g., text, design, branding, and educational materials) is owned or licensed by Openreach Academy and may not be copied, distributed, or reused without permission.

• Tutors retain ownership of original content they create but grant Openreach Academy a limited license to display such content through the Services.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to third-party websites or tools. Openreach Academy is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Openreach Academy does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Openreach Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services. Our total liability for direct damages will not exceed $100 CAD or equivalent.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or other lawful reasons.

12. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of any jurisdiction where Openreach Academy operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Users are responsible for complying with local laws applicable to their use of the Services.
