At Openreach Academy, we aim to provide free and accessible online tutoring to our community and also provide proactive students an opportunity to receive valuable volunteer experience.
Why should you become a tutor?
For high school and university students, tutoring others is an excellent use of your time. Whether your goal is to apply to universities, internships or a working job, the experiences you will gain from being a tutor at Openreach Academy will be beneficial in numerous ways.
Openreach Academy offers flexible hours for our tutors and accepts tutors from all backgrounds.
Most importantly, you will be helping students achieve their true potential who may otherwise be unable to afford tutoring.

Openreach Academy is an effort created by current British Columbian students who are familiar with the local curriculum, challenges and inner workings of our school systems. We understand the challenges of finding affordable tutors and opportunities to give back to the community by volunteering.
As a result, we aim to offer completely free online tutoring for all students with donations being optional but greatly appreciated. We also provide flexible and accessible volunteering opportunities to those looking to contribute.
